Four of Kenya defining destinations in a week, arranged so that no single one dominates. It opens with two nights in Amboseli, famous for its elephants and for the mountain that stands behind them.
The middle of the trip is deliberately different. At Lake Naivasha you leave the vehicle for a guided walk in Hell Gate National Park, with gorge, cliffs and plains game on foot, which changes the scale of everything. Lake Nakuru follows, a compact Rift Valley park framed by the escarpment.
It ends with two nights in the Masai Mara and a full day inside the reserve. This one is for travellers who want a balanced Kenya safari rather than a week in a single reserve, and who would rather trade one more game drive for a morning on foot.
